In 2016, I moved back into Executive Search and have spent the last decade of my career focusing on working with clients in the Central Government space, appointing outstanding individuals to Senior Civil Service Pay Bands 1, 2 and 3 positions as well as Non-Executives in major Government Departments () as well as Arm’s Length Bodies, Non-Ministerial Departments, Regulators and Agencies ().

In Scotland, my clients have included the Scottish Government and several Arm’s Length Bodies and Major Institutions such as the Scottish Funding Council, Crown Estate Scotland, Magnox (Dounreay) Heriot-Watt University, the University of Edinburgh and University of Strathclyde Glasgow.

My work also has an international dimension and I have led successful campaigns for HMG in Mumbai, Beijing, Istanbul, Milan, São Paulo, Johannesburg and Singapore.

Outside Government, I have worked with Parliament placing the Chair and Board of the Houses of Parliament Restoration and Renewal Authority as well as the Chair and several Board Members of the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA). Other non-Central Government Clients include the Greater London Assembly and London Legacy Development Corporation.

I have also worked in the Third Sector with organisations including the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, Action Aid, the RSPCA, Pancreatic Cancer UK, Guide Dogs and the NSPCC.
